Praxair, Inc. Started Production at Its New Plant

CHEMMONITOR.COM - US international industrial gases company Praxair, Inc. started the production of hydrogen at its new facility. The daily capacity of the plant is about 135 million standard cubic feet of hydrogen.

This new hydrogen plant will cater to the refinery, which is located in Louisiana and belongs to Valero Energy Corporation. The two companies entered into an agreement in 2011 according to which Praxair is to supply Valero Energy’s refinery with 270 million standard cubic feet of hydrogen per day.
