Mine Expansion Project to be Finished by Late Oct in the US

CHEMMONITOR.COM – The Tucson-based US company Asarco LLC is going to finish the expansion of its mine concentrator in Arizona by the end of October 2013. The daily capacity of the concentrator after the expansion is expected to increase by about 9,000 metric tons and reach 26,000 metric tons. 

The whole project is assessed at around USD 60 million. Asarco generates approximately 400 million pounds of copper per annum at its three copper mines.
