Paradeep Phosphates to Raise Production Capacity at its Sulphuric Acid Unit

CHEMMONITOR.COM – The Indian fertiliser company, Paradeep Phosphates (PPL) intends to expand its sulphuric acid unit located in Paradeep (India). The U.S. firm with HQ in Pasadena, Jacobs Engineering Group, inked a contract for the management advisoryof this project.

PPL is the joint venture between the Indian conglomerate Zuari Holdings, the national Moroccan phosphates company (Office Chérifien des Phosphates) and the Indian Government.

Jacobs will supervise the work of PPL’s engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractors.
