PETRONAS Chemicals Group Berhad (PCG) to Stop Its Vinyl Production in Malaysia and Vietnam

CHEMMONITOR.COM – The Malaysia-based integrated chemicals producer with HQ in Kuala Lumpur PETRONAS Chemicals Group Berhad (PCG) is going to quit its business in Vietnam and Malaysia.

The producer’s vinyl chloride monomer (VCM) plant with the annual output of about 402,000 metric tons and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plant producing 181,000 metric tons per year will go off stream in late 2012, in Malaysia.
