Lotte Group to Reduce Energy Costs at its Facility

CHEMMONITOR.COM – Lotte Pakistan PTA (LOTPTA) with HQ in Karachi (Pakistan) intends to invest more than USD 19.8 million in upgrade of its power facility. The company is involved into the pure terephthalic acid (PTA) production. The LOTPTA’s this year fall of shares was the main reason for the decision. The sum will be provided during two coming years.

The Lotte facility was launched about 4 months ago. The value of the project is estimated at USD 50 million.
