CHEMMONITOR.COM – Recently, the polyethylene terephthalate (PET) Resin Association, PETRA, with HQ in the USA has elaborated a new evaluation model. It is designed for the examination of recyclability of new PET resins for PET bottles and containers production.

This model can also test new resins, which are not frequent on the market. It combines the most advanced technologies of Europe and North America for recyclability studying.

At present recyclability norms in the USA limit resin testing to concentrations of 25% or 50%.
