Flint Hills Plans to Purchase Ethanol Unit

CHEMMONITOR.COM – The refining and chemicals company with HQ in Wichita (Kansas), Flint Hills Resources, plans to purchase an ethanol unit. The facility is situated in Nebraska. It belongs to Advanced Bioenergy (LLC ABE) with headquarters in Delaware (the USA).

 

At present, the deal awaits approval of regulatory authorities.

 

The plant in Fairmont was launched five years ago. Its capacity exceeds 114.9 million gallons per year. The unit produces more than 319, 900 tons of dried stillage annually. There are 50 people on the staff.
