Styrene Monomer (SM) Showed Rise in Prices in the Asian Market

CHEMMONITOR.COM – Styrene monomer (SM) prices in the Asian market are on an upward trajectory due to unbalance between consumption and supply in China.

Free on Board (FOB) Korea SM was lately estimated at about USD 1,576 per metric ton, up by USD 17.6 per metric ton. The figure was higher only in late July four years ago. The price was nominated at USD 1,578 per metric ton.

The latest price for SM on Cost and Freight (CFR) China basis was about USD 1,598 per metric ton.
