Braskem May Begin a Range of Prospective Projects in Latin America

CHEMMONITOR.COM – Braskem, Latin America’s largest petrochemical company headquartered in São Paulo (Brazil), intends to construct one more petrochemical complex. It will be situated on Mexico’s Gulf Coast, as Mexico offers many advantages for the development of the industry.

The company possesses 65% of Ethylene XXI (the joint venture founded nearly two years ago), which manages the construction of the complex.

The rest part of JV belongs to the Mexican petrochemical company Grupo Idesa, which is Braskem’s partner in the new promising project.
