Construction of Eastern Petrochemical Terminal to Begin in June 2013

CHEMMONITOR.COM – The construction of the Eastern petrochemical terminal is to take place in June 2013. The project is located in Eastern port (Primorye Territory).

The terminal construction project will, probably, undergo environmental assessment in November. The project design finalization and approval of Russian official authority’s appraisal are planned for May 2013.

Firstly, two berths on remote pier for the accommodation of tanker ships capable of carrying 40,000 dwt will be constructed.

The Eastern petrochemical terminal will be exploited by the Russian company Rosneft.
