Saudi Kayan Petrochemical Company Launched Low-density Polyethylene (LDPE) Plant in Late September

CHEMMONITOR.COM – The Saudi Arabian company with headquarters in Jubail, Saudi Kayan Petrochemical Company, put its new unit on stream. The startup was implemented in late September 2012. The new low-density polyethylene (LDPE) unit with the capacity of about 302,000 tonnes per year is located at Jubail site.

The construction of the plant commenced five years ago.

At present, the company is encompassing test activities at the LDPE unit and is planning to increase throughput.
