Canadian Plastics and Chemicals Company to Restart Its Petchem Unit in Late October 2012

CHEMMONITOR.COM – The Canada-based plastics and chemicals company with headquarters in Calgary, Nova Chemicals, possesses a petrochemical complex at Corunna site (USA). The outage at the complex caused an interruption in polypropylene (PP) resin supply to the Dearborn-headquartered (US) international automaker Ford Motor Company through the refinery at Marysville site of Flint Hills Resources company. The force majeure happened in late September.
