Values of Methyl Tertiary Butyl Ether (MTBE) Showed a Downward Surge in the Asian Market

CHEMMONITOR.COM – In the Asian market, low consumption of methyl tertiary butyl ether (MTBE) entailed a dip in prices for the product by over USD 30 per metric ton. Free on Board (FOB) Singapore MTBE was assessed at about high USD 1,100s per metric ton. The similar decrease was seen in late July at almost USD 1,095 per metric ton, also lower by around USD 30 per ton from June.

In early September, the value was set at approximately USD 1,169 per metric ton.
