China-based Company to Enhance Its Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) Capacity

CHEMMONITOR.COM – The China-based chemical company Xinjiang Zhongtai launched a test run of its new suspension polyvinyl chloride (PVC) unit at Fukang site. This third plant is able to generate about 900,100 tonnes of material annually. The manufacturer intends to reach the potential output by late 2012.

The first line of the plant with the output of roughly 451,000 tonnes was commissioned in mid September. The second line, which will supply the local market, is expected to be operational in November 2012.
