CHEMMONITOR.COM – Prices for polyethylene (PE) have registered a considerable upsurge in the European market.

For instance, low density nominations went up by around 5.4 percent in free on board (FOB) NWE deals within a two-month period.

The price enhancement resulted from the intention of European PE users to stock up their inventories after summer holidays.

The new price level in Europe is higher than in the Asian market.
