Ethylene Output in the US Market Showed Downward Surge

CHEMMONITOR.COM – More than ten plants producing olefin in the state of Louisiana are able to manufacture almost 6.5 million metric tons yearly. All the units were under the threat of shutting down.

Several local ethylene producers suspended operations at their units.

The US-based company Williams Companies, Inc. halted production at its cracker producing over 610,000 metric tons annually.
