New Decorative Paints Plant of AkzoNobel in China to Go on Stream by 2017

Specialty chemicals company Akzo Nobel N.V. (AkzoNobel) (the Netherlands) will set up a decorative paint plant in Chengdu (Sichuan province, China). This facility is part of the investment assessed at EUR 50 million. The company is going to construct the plant in the Qionglai Yang’an industrial park.

The projected decorative paint facility is expected to be AkzoNobel’s fourth plant of such kind in China and is likely to create about 100 new jobs.
