PhosAgro-Cherepovets to Launch New Ammonia Plant in 2017

CHEMMONITOR.COM - Russia-based ammonia and ammonia nitrate producer OJSC PhosAgro-Cherepovets inked a loan agreement, which is assessed at about USD 440.6 million, to build an ammonia plant with the capacity of 760 000 tons annually at PhosAgro-Cherepovets site (the Vologda region).

The company signed the agreement with the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC), BTMU, Mizuho Bank and Citibank Japan. JBIC will provide over USD 264 million with thirteen years’ tenure and the rest will lend over USD 176 with a tenure of seven years.
