Sinopec Beijing Yanshan Petrochemical Co Ltd Suspended Monoethylene Glycol (MEG) Facility

CHEMMONITOR.COM – A subsidiary of Sinopec, Sinopec Beijing Yanshan Petrochemical Co Ltd, temporary idled its monoethylene glycol (MEG) facility, located at the Wuhan site (China). The plant was shut in early April 2016 due to the unknown reasons. The MEG facility is expected to remain off-stream for about a week. This plant’s annual production capacity reaches 280,000 metric tons.
