Grand Pacific Petrochemical Corp (GPPC) Resumed Operations at SM Facility at Tashe Site in Taiwan

CHEMMONITOR.COM - Taiwan-based company Grand Pacific Petrochemical Corp (GPPC) suspended operations at a styrene monomer (SM) facility due to maintenance turnaround. The plant is predicted to remain off line for a month. The SM plant is situated in Kaohsiung (Taiwan) and produces about 250,000 metric tons yearly.

Moreover, the company shut another SM facility, which is located at Tashe site (Taiwan) for the same reason, in mid-February of 2014.
