Lukoil Sold Its Interest in Caspian Investments Resources Ltd.

CHEMMONITOR.COM - Russia-based oil and gas company Lukoil sold its 50% interest in Kazakhstan-based natural resources company Caspian Investments Resources Ltd. to Chinese oil and gas company Sinopec Limited. The acquisition is assessed at about USD 1.2 billion. The deal is expected to be finally closed by late 2014.
