Limestone Production Could Be Increased in Jamaica

CHEMMONITOR.COM – Jamaica could turn into the key supplier of limestone thus achieving profit of USD 7 billion a year.

The country reserves about 150 billion tonnes of limestone, 50 billion tonnes of which can be recovered. South Amerıca, the US, Canada and the Caribbean Community are among the possible importers of limestone from Jamaica.
