CHEMMONITOR.COM - The biodiesel market in the USA has shown a significant growth in 2013. The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to keep the biomass-based diesel standard at almost 1.3 billion gallons in 2014. The biodiesel industry is likely to exceed this volume as the biodiesel production is predicted to be worth 1.7 billion gallons by late December.

1.3 billion gallons is a quite challenging proposal as the 2013 biodiesel production can be carried over for compliance into 2014.
