NOVA Chemicals to Increase Its Polyethylene Production at Joffre Site (Canada)

CHEMMONITOR.COM - As part of the Polyethylene 1 expansion project, NOVA Chemicals, a Canadian company, aims at  expanding its LLDPE (linear low density polyethylene) production facilities at the Joffre complex (Alberta, Canada).

The new reactor is likely to be launched in autumn 2015. The firm plans to boost its annual LLDPE capacity (1.48 billion pounds) to somewhat 2.43 billion pounds or even more (nearly 40% increase).
