Dow Chemical Company and W. R. Grace and Company Signed Definitive Agreement
CHEMMONITOR.COM - US multinational chemical corporation The Dow Chemical Company is going to divest its polypropylene licensing and catalysts business. The company signed a definitive agreement with a chemical conglomerate W. R. Grace and Company. The business is to be divested for a sale price of about USD 500 million. Dow is planning to finish the business transaction by late 2013. By late 2014, the firm is going to divest around USD 1.5 billion.
