CHEMMONITOR.COM – Polish toluene di-isocyanate (TDI) producers (Ciech, in particular) are concerned about probability of revenues losses. This is likely to result from the fact that the current increase TDI output may lead to a supply surplus in the near future in Europe. The output increase takes places due to startups of new production facilities. For instance, TDI plant has recently been brought on stream by BorsodChem. Its production capacity is planned to amount to 160,000 tonnes per year.
