CHEMMONITOR.COM – According to market researches, an increase of BD (butadiene) prices is expected to take place in September-October in Asia. This is likely to be driven by the anticipation of scheduled cracker outages in Asia and the USA resulting in a decrease of BD supply. However, a rise of BD demand from India and China expected at the same period is likely to contribute to the price boost as well. August BD prices were estimated at about $3,825 per tonne cost and freight (CFR) northeast (NA) Asia.
