1st Arctic Region Oil & Gas Conference
Arctic Region Oil & Gas is a commercial conference that services international and regional oil and gas companies currently operating, or looking to operate in the Arctic. The two day programme is specially designed to explore business opportunities, innovative solutions to oil and gas development and facilitate open and interactive discussion on industry best-practice in the Arctic region.Senior officials from government agencies and representatives of major oil and gas companies will speak about political and environmental policies, as well as a range of critical issues in exploration and production of oil and gas in the Arctic region.
The focus of the programme will be:
- The development of hydrocarbons in the Arctic
- An industry update on oil and gas activity in the Arctic shelf
- Co-operation in the Barents Sea
- Advances in marine seismic operations
- Challenges and solutions to oil and gas transportation in the Arctic ocean
- Arctic LNG projects
The Arctic Region Oil & Gas conference is designed to serve the needs of oil and gas companies from all streams operating or seeking to operate in the Arctic region. The conference aims to generate open discussion about topical issues facing the oil and gas industry in the region.
The Arctic region represents one of the last oil and gas frontiers in the world. Covering around 6% of the earth’s surface, the region that comprises parts of Russia, USA, Norway, Greenland and Canada holds the world’s largest undeveloped and unexplored prospective reserves of oil and gas.
Untapped reserves and the challenges of operating within environmental protection regulations provide a wealth of topics to be explored in the conference programme.
